Job Description

Main Duties:

 Supervise Quality Assurance personnel as per directives.

 Implement and monitor ISO 22000/HACCP standards.

 Conduct regular inspections of catering areas and coordinate remedial actions.

 Properly file ISO 22000/HACCP documents.

 Investigate customer complaints and ensure corrective actions.

 Support customer audits, ensuring high hygiene standards and document readiness.

 Report building or equipment defects and food safety issues to SQA.

 Perform regular checks on food safety parameters like storage and cooking

temperatures.

 Monitor meal specifications and adherence.

 Conduct quality audits at supplier premises.

 Advise staff on personal hygiene in food handling.

 Monitor food handling from receipt to dispatch, emphasizing refrigeration and

cleanliness.

 Ensure training and up-to-date records for staff on hygiene and food safety.

 Ensure compliance with allergen control procedures.

 Comply with health, safety, and security regulations.

Work Contacts: Close contact with production, maintenance, supply, stores, and

occasionally suppliers.

Supervision: Limited supervision based on tasks from SQA.

Safety & Security: Implement safety and security measures at the airport.

Work Environment: Exposure to varying temperatures in catering facilities.
